Mudding is illegal and will be treated with
ZERO TOLERANCE
on Bennett Lumber property.

Mudding (or mud bogging) is the sport of driving vehicles through wet
areas including meadows, springs, ponds, and streams with the intent to
see how much mud can be thrown up onto the vehicle, or how large a
mud hole can be created before vehicles can no longer drive through
without getting stuck.

This activity is extremely damaging to vegetation, soils, water quality,
fisheries, and wildlife habitat. In addition, damaged areas become ready
seedbeds for noxious weeds and invasive plants.

If you see this activity occurring on Bennett property, please report vehicle descriptions and license numbers to us
at 208-875-1121 or to the Latah County Sheriff's office.
Minimum fine is $100 and violators are being held responsible in a court of law for the cost of rehabilitating the damaged resources, hill climbs, meadows, stream banks etc.
